about NIBANAH

Your Sanctuary for Renewal

At NIBANAH, we believe healing begins with connection — to the earth, to each other, and to the deepest parts of ourselves. Nestled in nature’s quiet embrace, our retreat farm offers a peaceful, nurturing space where you can rest, reflect, and awaken to your truth.

We are committed to providing a safe and beautiful environment that supports personal growth, emotional healing, and spiritual awakening. Whether you’re joining us for a retreat, a restful stay, or simply to reconnect, you’ll be held by the land, nourished by our farm-to-table meals, and supported by a community rooted in compassion and sustainable living.

Our meals offer more than nourishment — they provide a sensory experience. Every dish is lovingly prepared with fresh, wholesome ingredients harvested from our gardens and local farms, aligning body and spirit with nature’s rhythm.

The NIBANAH apiary is home to our thriving bee community, and we’re proud to offer raw, local honey — harvested with care, straight from the hive. Our free-roaming hens provide fresh eggs each day, continuing the natural cycle of nourishment that infuses every part of life on the farm.

At NIBANAH, we live with intention. We honor the land, cultivate mindful community living, and embrace the simple yet powerful practices that reconnect us to what truly matters.

Come as you are. Leave renewed.

The Meaning of NIBANAH

Derived from ancient roots, NIBANAH is not just a location, it’s a state of being. A return to the natural rhythm. A homecoming of the soul. It means to pause, to ground, to grow organically, beyond the boundaries of space and time.

Our Mission

To offer a heart-centered space where healing, inspiration, and spiritual growth unfold naturally — through nature, community, mindfulness, and compassionate living.

Our Founders

Mr. Hamid Kazemi, a registered OFA member and visionary land steward, founded Nibanah with the intention of creating a holistic refuge rooted in ancient wisdom and modern wellness. He is joined by Lindsay Vandenhurk, a seasoned yoga guide, healer, and educator, whose compassionate leadership has helped shape Nibanah into a space of transformation, learning, and deep spiritual care.

Together, they’ve woven a sanctuary where authentic healing and grounded community thrive side by side.

The Land & Location

Located at Kirkfield, ON, NIBANAH sits on sacred land surrounded by forest trails, native meadows, and lakeside peace. At the heart of the property is a luxury 15-bed retreat mansion, a cozy, beautifully restored home designed for wellness retreats, events, private accommodations, and workshops.

It’s a space made for slowing down, breathing deeply, and remembering your place in nature’s rhythm.

What We Offer

NIBANAH offers a rich blend of transformative experiences, including signature retreats like silent meditation weekends, yoga and coaching immersions, and nature-based R&R escapes. Guests can enjoy holistic wellness services such as massage, energy work, and facials, as well as creative workshops in sound healing, herbalism, and art. Monthly events like full moon feasts, fire ceremonies, and dharma talks foster deep connection.
